SERIES 2-5000

SERIES-2-5000

The Dwyer Series 2-5000 Minihelic® II is a compact, low-cost differential pressure gauge for measuring air and compatible non-corrosive gases. It operates without power, has an accuracy of \(\pm 5\%\) of full scale, and is designed for applications like filter monitoring, room pressure sensing, and fume hood face velocity measurement.

  • Removable lens and rear-housing provides easy, cost-effective servicing
  • Accuracy and value provides an excellent solution for OEM and user applications
  • Durable housing materials make it well-suited for rough environments and total high pressure

  • Durable Construction: The housing is molded from strong mineral- and glass-filled nylon and the lens from clear acrylic, allowing it to withstand rough use and high total pressure up to 30 psig.
  • Overpressure Protection: A blow-out membrane is molded into the diaphragm to accommodate accidental over-ranging up to the rated total pressure without damage.
  • Magnetic Linkage: A ceramic magnet rotates a helix without direct mechanical linkage to indicate pressure on the scale, minimizing friction and wear.
  • Applications:
    • Room positive pressure sensing
    • Local indication on filter status
    • Face velocity on fume hoods
    • Medical respiratory equipment
    • Duct pressures
    • Air samplers
