The Tek-Trol Tek-Sub 4800A  is a high-accuracy, PTFE-housed submersible level transmitter designed specifically for continuous level measurement in aggressive and corrosive fluids.

The Tek-Sub 4800A PTFE Submersible Level Transmitter has been designed for continuous submersion in aggressive fluids. This submersible device uses a rugged ceramic pressure sensor encased in PTFE housing that provides excellent corrosion resistance in most fluids. It facilitates simple installation, easy cleaning and years of trouble-free service with almost no maintenance. The device guarantees stability and reliability in harsh environments.The Tek-Sub 4800A operates on 12-36 VDC power. Available outputs are 4-20 mA, 0.5-4.5 VDC or RS-485.

TEK TROL TEK SUB 4800 PTFE SUBMERSIBLE LEVEL TRANSMITTER

The Tek-Sub 4800A  utilizes a rugged ceramic pressure sensor encased in a chemical-resistant PTFE (Teflon) housing. Operating on the principle of hydrostatic pressure measurement, it calculates the filling height of a vessel based on the weight of the liquid column above the sensor. It is engineered for stability in harsh environments, featuring a completely sealed IP68 construction and a vented cable to compensate for atmospheric pressure changes. With no moving parts and factory-calibrated settings, it provides a low-maintenance solution for long-term service in tanks and wells containing chemicals or slurries.
