SERIES 160S

DWYER SERIES 160 STAINLESS STEEL PILOT TUBE | ACCURATE AIR VELOCITY MEASUREMENT

A rugged, anti-clogging “S” type pitot tube designed for measuring airflow in dirty or particulate-heavy gas streams. The Dwyer 160S Pitot Tube is designed for dirty, particulate-laden air streams. Rated to 1500°F, it meets EPA standards for smoke stack and environmental testing.

  • Large 5/16″ stainless steel tubing resists plugging under harsh conditions
  • 1/8″ FNPT connections are permanently welded to unit
  • Able to be used in up to 1500°F (815.5°C) and 100 psig (6.89 bar)

DWYER SERIES 160s TYPE STAINLESS STEEL PILOT TUBE | HIGH-TEMP STACK TESTING

The Series 160S features a large, open-tip design that resists fouling and plugging, making it superior to standard hemispherical pitot tubes in environmental testing. Constructed from welded 304 stainless steel, it consists of precisely aligned total and static pressure tubes. It is designed to meet EPA specifications (40 CFR) for emissions monitoring and environmental testing field needs.

PRODUCT USES:

  • Stack Testing: Measuring flow in smoke stacks and chimneys.
  • Environmental Monitoring: EPA Method 2 air velocity traverses.
  • Industrial Exhaust: Monitoring particulate-laden air or gas streams.
