PROPULSE® 2 SERIES MINI TURBINE FLOW METER SENSOR

The ProPulse®2 provides superior performance and delivers accurate Ultra-Low Flow measurement that is highly repeatable under the most demanding of industrial environments. The ProPulse®2 operates using a PVDF rotor with encapsulated magnetic inserts, which rotate on a long-wearing set of sapphire bearings designed to provide years of reliability. As the rotor spins, the magnetic field produced by the magnets is picked up via a Hall Effect Sensor, which converts the rotation into a square wave NPN pulse, 4 – 20mA, or RS485 output that can be sent directly to a metering pump or local display.

PROPULSE® 2 SERIES MINI TURBINE FLOW METER SENSOR

Flow Ranges:  Ultra-low ranges starting from 40 mL/min (0.01 GPM), with maximum flows up to 15 LPM depending on model and connection size.

Accuracy: ±0.5% of Full Scale (at 25°C for display models PPM & PPR); ±1.0% for blind models (PPW).

Repeatability: High repeatability, ideal for precise chemical dosing and metering applications.

Body Material: Options for Polypropylene (PP) or PVDF (Polyvinylidene fluoride) for excellent chemical resistance.

Rotor/Bearings: PVDF turbine with encapsulated magnetic inserts and long-wearing zirconia-ceramic or sapphire bearings.

Max. Working Pressure: Up to 145 psi (10 bar) for PP body, and 217 psi (15 bar) for PVDF body (non-shock).

Operating Temperature Range:  from -40 to 120°C (-40 to 248°F) for PVDF models, and -20 to 80°C (-4 to 176°F) for PP models.

Output Signals: NPN or PNP Pulse output, 4–20 mA, or RS485 (Modbus/serial), with optional IO-Link and display versions.

Connectivity: M12 quick-connect reduces wiring errors and speeds commissioning.

Enclosure Rating: IP65 or NEMA 4X for protection against dust and water ingress.

End Connections: Various options including hose barb, threaded NPT, straight tube, and flared connections in sizes from 1/8″ to 1/2″.
