FE1000

PARAGON FE1000 DUCT INSERTION AIRFLOW SENSOR  | HVAC VELOCITY METER

The Paragon FE1000 is an insertion-type, self-averaging airflow sensing element designed for easy installation through a single cutout in existing or new ductwork to provide accurate velocity pressure signals.

PARAGON FE1000 DUCT INSERTION AIRFLOW SENSOR  | HVAC VELOCITY METER

The Series FE1000 utilizes an aerodynamic Fechheimer design to sample total and static pressure points across the air stream. It features two isolated internal chambers: one for averaging total pressure from multiple upstream ports and another for averaging static pressure from ports located where the velocity head influence is zero. This design allows for precise measurement even with angular flow variations up to ±20°. Constructed typically of anodized aluminum, it can also be fabricated from 316L stainless steel or PVC for corrosive environments.

PRODUCT USES:

  • HVAC Retrofits: Easily installs into existing ductwork through a small cutout.
  • Air Volume Monitoring: Providing signals for building automation and control systems.
  • VAV and AHU Control: Monitoring supply, return, or exhaust air volumes.
  • Laboratory & Industrial Exhaust: Accurate measurement in diverse air quality conditions.
