SERIES TSW-TT IMMERSION SNAP-ACTION BIMETALLIC TEMPERATURE SWITCHES

The Dwyer Series TSW-TT (part of the Mercoid division) is a rugged, fixed-setpoint bimetallic temperature switch designed for the protection of industrial equipment and hydraulic systems. TSW-TT Series bi-metal immersion temperature switches are perfect for applications that require an economical solution to simple temperature control. All switches activate with a rise in temperature. The TSW-TT Series offer a wide range of temperature pre-set values to select from.

A compact, heavy-duty immersion temperature switch that uses a bimetallic snap-action disc to provide a vibration-resistant electrical output at a factory-preset temperature. It is specifically designed for high-pressure applications like mobile hydraulics and engine cooling.

 

SERIES TSW-TT IMMERSION SNAP-ACTION BIMETALLIC TEMPERATURE SWITCHES

The Series TSW-TT utilizes an encapsulated bimetallic disc to actuate an electrical switch when a specific temperature is reached. Because the sensing element is isolated from the electrical contact, the unit is highly resistant to shock and vibration. It is available in Normally Open (NO) configurations for activating cooling fans or Normally Closed (NC) configurations for safety shutdowns. The brass or 304 Stainless Steel housing allows for direct immersion into oil or water lines without a thermowell.
