The Autrol ALT 6400 is a microprocessor-based, smart float-type level transmitter designed for steady monitoring and control of liquid levels in industrial tanks.

A high-performance, contact-type float level transmitter that utilizes magnetic buoyancy to provide continuous 4-20mA level measurement and alarm switching.

The ALT 6400 is an “intelligent” smart transmitter that uses a magnetic float to actuate reed switches within a guide pipe. This change in resistance is processed by the internal microprocessor to output a precise 4-20mA analog signal compatible with DCS or PLC systems. It features an integrated LCD for local indication and supports the digital HART protocol for remote configuration and calibration. Its robust design includes explosion-proof housing and built-in self-diagnostic functions for high-reliability operation.
