172 LOW DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE TRANSMITTER
The core component of the Model 172 Series differential pressure sensor is a capacitive pressure sensor. This sensor, consisting of a stainless steel diaphragm and fixed electrodes, forms a capacitor whose value changes with pressure. The sensor’s carefully designed sensor element, utilizing our patented technology, and a unique detection circuit ensure excellent temperature performance and long-term stability.
The Model 172 differential pressure sensor /transmitter measures differential or gauge pressure. It features an LCD display, a zero reset button, and optional 0-5V, 0-10V, 4-20mA, and RS485 outputs. It meets IP65 protection.
The Model 172 has an accuracy of ±1.0%FS, ±0.4%FS, or ±0.25%FS at room temperature. The temperature compensation range is -10°C to 60°C, with a temperature effect of less than ±0.05%FS/°C. The Model 172 series offers excellent performance and price-performance, making it widely used in HVAC, environmental pollution control, clean engineering, smart farming, semiconductors, aerospace instrumentation, university laboratories, medical equipment, oven pressurization and furnace air pressure control, natural gas and coal gas pipeline monitoring, underground ventilation, and power plant air pressure monitoring.
