Spark Detector System

A dust collector spark detector system (also known as a spark extinguishing or spark suppression system) is a proactive fire and explosion prevention technology designed to neutralize ignition sources before they reach a dust collector, silo, or filter. In industrial pneumatic conveying systems, high-speed fans carry combustible dust and potentially dangerous sparks or embers through ductwork at speeds often exceeding 5,000 feet per minute. A single spark reaching the dust-laden environment of a collector can cause a catastrophic fire or deflagration.
