DWYER SERIES L4 Flotect®

The Dwyer Series L4 Flotect® Float Switch is a rugged, magnetically operated level switch designed for automatic tank level indication and control in industrial environments.  A weatherproof and explosion-proof float switch that uses a unique magnetic coupling to actuate a snap switch, eliminating the need for failure-prone bellows, springs, or seals.

Rugged and reliable the Series L4 Flotect® Float Switch operates automatically to indicate tank level. Perfect for starting or stopping pumps, opening or closing valves, or actuating level alarm signals. A unique magnetically actuated switching design gives superior performance. There are no bellows, springs, or seals to fail. Instead, the free-swinging float attracts a magnet within the solid metal switch body, actuating a snap switch by means of a simple lever arm. Float arm hinge design limits the arm angle to prevent vertical hang up.

 

DWYER SERIES L4 Flotect®

Built for demanding applications, the Series L4 features a leak-proof body machined from solid bar stock. It operates by utilizing a free-swinging float that attracts a magnet within the metal body to actuate a SPDT or DPDT snap switch. This design prevents common issues like vertical hang-up or clogging, making it highly reliable for controlling pumps and valves or triggering alarms in hazardous and non-hazardous areas.
